IPYG introduces the new way to makes giving easier than ever before.

IPYG is youth group so we keep thinking about peace work that everyone enjoy and the innovative ways.
On searching the internet IPYG found this.
Take a look! It's very funny.

It's "The Social Swipe" by Misereor.
 http://www.kolle-rebbe.de/en/news_en/the-social-swipe-by-misereor-makes-giving-easier-than-ever-before/

A single credit card swipe through the poster donates 2 EUR to MISEREOR and triggers an interactive experience: the credit card cuts through the image of bound hands of an imprisoned Filipino child, helping him to return to a normal life. Another scenario lets one to provide daily meal for a family in Peru: a credit card swipe cuts a slice of bread from a loaf.

Isn't easy to get people's attention?
IPYG thinks campaign for peace must be fun and enjoyable like youth.

Sascha Hanke, Executive Creative Director, Kolle Rebbe: „It was a challenge. All processes connected with the donation had to be synchronized. When the card is swiped a secure process quickly authenticates it and in a split second activates a film sequence on screen.“

"The Social Swipe“ was realized with STRIPE.COM, one of the leading providers in mobile payment. At the moment, the digital posters get a lot of attention at international airports. But they also have a lasting impact: when donors receive their credit card statement they are asked to turn their single donation into a monthly one.

It's pity because IPYG just watches this ad but can't swipe cards.
IPYG want to say,“peace work is important but it's not a difficult problem.”
And we IPYG are youths, it means let's make innovation for peace!

IPYG is searching the frontiers as lights in this world

"The one who carries out little things with faithfulness can change the world with me."

What comes to your mind when you read this?
This is the word of a sage in China.

When IPYG ask youths "What kind of images come into your mind when you hear the word Peace?", many of them lose their tongues.
It's because we think only brave men or one with a lot of money can work for peace without any limit.
But it is the stupid idea in IPGY !

Only little things like reading the news about world issue or unloading the news or talk to your friends can make a big change.

There was a girl who became the light for people who didn't know about how serious terrorist is.
Her name is Malala Yousafzai.
Yousafzai attended a school that her father, Ziauddin Yousafzai, had founded. After the Taliban began attacking girls' schools in Swat, Malala gave a speech in Peshawar, Pakistan, in September 2008. The title of her talk was, "How dare the Taliban take away my basic right to education?"

http://thedailymeditation.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/malala-yousafzai-quotes-on-education-and-life-1024x687.jpg

In early 2009, Yousafzai began blogging for the BBC about living under the Taliban's threats to deny her an education. In order to hide her identity, she used the name Gul Makai.

She is normal but she try to speak out.
There are many way you can do for peace.
When you have a mind for peace but don't know how to do.
Then just join with IPYG.
We need your actions.

IPYG got lessons from people who have eyes opened to the realities of life.

IPYG wants all youths to have a mind about peace.
Before us, however, there were lots of people who had opened their eyes to the world.
Today I want to share the one of them.
The man is John Lennon.

http://inktank.fi/9-john-lennon-quotes-everyone-should-read/

In short, he was an English musician, singer and songwriter who rose to worldwide fame as a founder member of the rock group the Beatles, the most commercially successful band in the history of popular music. With Paul McCartney, he formed a songwriting partnership that is one of the most celebrated of the 20th century.

When the group disbanded in 1970, he left his famous as a celebrity behind working for peace.
On 9 November 1966 Lennon met Ono. Lennon went to the Indica Gallery in London, where Ono was preparing her conceptual art exhibit, and they were introduced by gallery owner John Dunbar.

There are many ways that peace workers achieve their aim.
IPYG is running some projects for peace to win against indifference.
How can IPYG break people's indifference?

These two people used their power for peace to get attention of media.
Lennon and Ono used their honeymoon as what they termed a "Bed-In for Peace" at the Amsterdam Hilton Hotel; the March 1969 event attracted worldwide media ridicule.
Lennon wrote and recorded "Give Peace a Chance". Released as a single, it was quickly taken up as an anti-war anthem and sung by a quarter of a million demonstrators against the Vietnam War in Washington, DC, on 15 November, the second Vietnam Moratorium Day.

Sadly, it's difficult to understand their main message to people so, it got into trouble.
IPYG think it seems to be chasing the same thing between John Lennon and us.
One day on watching TV, I found this song telling people what IPYG want to say.

I quote a line from his song, imagine.

Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace

You may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one

Yes, we IPYG do believe someday you'll join us and the world will be as one.

IPYG Tries To Think Outside The Box.

Have you ever seen the movie Cloud Atlas made by twins, Andy Wachowski
Lana Wachowski famous for The Matrix ?

As a member of IPYG, I was very inspired that there are people who tell what I want to say by movie.

http://blog.naver.com/yestell08/220043765510

Let's see why this movie is related with IPYG.

It consists of six interrelated and interwoven stories spanning different time periods. According to novelist David Mitchell, it is structured "as a sort of pointillist mosaic."

The six stories are Pacific Islands 1849, Cambridge 1936, San Francisco 1973, London 2012, Neo Seoul 2144 and Big Isle 106 winters after The Fall.

In the stories, the most impressive ones are Pacific Islands in 1849 and Neo Seoul, 2144.

Actually all stories are interrelated so the reason why I choose these is based on whole synopsis and it makes Pacific Islands in 1849and Neo Seoul, 2144 more dramatic.

The content of Pacific Islands in 1849 is that.
Adam Ewing, an American lawyer from San Francisco, has come to the Chatham Islands to conclude a business arrangement with Reverend Gilles Horrox for his father-in-law, Haskell Moore. He witnesses the whipping of a Moriori slave, Autua, who later stows away on the ship. He confronts Ewing and convinces him to advocate for him to join the crew as a free man.

Returning to the United States, Ewing and his wife Tilda denounce her father's complicity in slavery and leave San Francisco to join the abolition movement.

The content of .Neo Seoul, 2144 is that.
Sonmi~451 is a genetically-engineered fabricant, a human clone and slave worker, living a compliant life of servitude as a server at a fast food restaurant.
she was rescued from captivity by Commander Hae-Joo Chang, a member of a rebel movement known as "Union".
They are found and Sonmi is captured. Hae-Joo rescues her, introduces her to the leader of the rebel movement, then shows her that fabricants are not freed at the end of their contract as they are told, but are killed and recycled into food for other clones.
She decides that the system of society based on slavery and exploitation is intolerable, and makes a public broadcast of her story and manifesto. Hae-Joo is killed in a firefight and Sonmi is captured. After telling her story to the archivist, she is executed.

Both slavery and a human clone as a slave worker treated inhumanely begin with people's greed and selfishness and people's greed make this senseless things be a matter of course.
IPYG wants to point out this. Why were people carried away by these ?
It's because we are indifferent to others even though we can give a hand to victims.

You may laugh and say, "How can you make a different with walking?"

Opposition forces of the terrorists are us.
Who is bigger? Of course it's us!!
We should remember this,"United we stand, divided we fall."
IPYG gather youths working for peace.
Please walk all over the world holding the light inside your heart.
